Exploration Section

The exploration elements help the students build intuition even with abstract and / or difficult (complex) topics or facts. These again simplify the access, handling of and analysis of such mathematical topics, whereby an increased motivation to learn can be expected.

Examples:

  • The understanding of mathematical methods is clearly improved through the incorporation of graphical demonstrations. Geometric effects are visualised through computer simulations und animations, through which they become better accessible by the learners. The success in learning is furthermore increased by the interactive dealing with the same demonstration methods in own projects and experiments.
  • Generally, very complex application examples are integrated into learning and practise through interactive elements.
  • Technical facts are more closely described in additional elements. Deficits of the students and discrepancies amongst the learners about the underlying know-how of application examples are thus compensated for.
